Quick...I need your help

For those of you with Gladney, how did you decide to check the PCR form. Just got a message from Anne and we somehow skipped this form. She's just sent it to me and needs us to check it, sign it & send it right back. What did you do? 1 PCR test or 2?! Help!!

Hi!
We did one. My dad is a family doc and he talked with me about this. the percentage difference between the accuracy of the 1st and 2nd tests is almost statistically insignificant after the child is 6 weeks old. That means that one test is almost always correct, especially the older the child is.
Hope that helps!

We did not waive the 2nd test. We asked several people and received such different responses, that we decided to just keep it at 2.

Hi Laura! I saw your post on my blog and thought I would connect with you since we ARE right at the same stage. How exciting! Shoot me an email sometime at jjelst@gmail.com
We waived the second test. My brother is a doctor and felt comfortable with us doing that.

We will check 2. Our friend is the director of research for a scientific company working on finding a cure for AIDS and she suggested we do 2.

After talking with specialists, we decided to ask for 2 if the first test was given prior to the child reaching 12 weeks of age and only 1 test if the child was 12 weeks or older when it was given. Gladney was fine with this request. Good luck!

After consulting with our doctor and prayer, we checked one.
