I'm such a follower

I was totally persuaded by the popular crowd to give cloth diapers a shot. Actually, I'd been thinking about it for a while but DH shot it down big time with CT but now that we'll have 3 kids cost is a factor. We spend approximately $3,000 on diapers per kid. That's ALOT of money. I did a little research and found some really cute, really EASY cloth diapers. We're going to give it a go. Cloth diapers are like they use to be. We're not talking prefolds and safely pins. They look and function just like disposable diapers. The only difference is instead of throwing my money in the garbage I'll throw it in the washer and reuse it. :) Thanks to my fellow September mama's for helping me decide which type of diaper would be best for our needs....convenience and EASY.

Also, a follow up to my last post about the boo boo. It's fixed...YAY! My homestudy agency was able to fix it and send out the corrected copy within 2 days.

I made a boo boo

I was finishing up my financial form for my dossier the other night and was looking at my home study to make sure everything matched up. I noticed that my mortgage wasn't included as part of my debt on my home study. I looked back on the financial form that I turned in to my home study agency and sure enough I left it off the financial form. I called the home study agency right away and they are fixing that page and resending it to Gladney and to DHR. This may set us back just a little bit but what can ya do? It's my own fault. I was rushing through all the paperwork trying to get it all turned in in time and messed it up. OOPS!

I got nothin'

I've recieved a few emails wondering if I've fallen off the face of the earth....nope, I'm here. I just have nothing new to report....and I'm not happy about that. I'm waiting for a fingerprint appointment but to be honest I don't even know if my homestudy has been sent to USCIS. I'm a little frustrated with how long it's taking to get this done. It's really holding us up. Our last home visit was back in December so I assumed this would be a quicker process but it took FOREVER to get our ABI & FBI clearances. Once we get the fingerprint appointment and recieve our I-171H our dossier will be ready to go.
